Reporting a disease event
Are you a participant in the BEready study and do you feel signs of a respiratory infection? This is the step-by-step guide on what you need to do.
1. Is it really a disease event as defined in BEready?
By a disease event we mean the presence of at least one (or more) of the following symptoms for at least 24 hours:
- cough,
- runny (or blocked) nose,
- sore throat,
- shortness of breath.
Does this apply to you?
If yes: Please go to step 2.
If no: You do not need to do anything else.
If you think you need urgent medical help, please contact your family doctor or the medical emergency call centre of the Canton of Berne on 0900 57 67 47 (CHF 3.23/min).
