A flu virus rarely comes on its own

They are finally here: the investigation results for the reported cases of illness in the BEready pilot study! Prof. Dr med. Gilles Wandeler, Co-Lead of BEready and infectiologist at the Inselspital Bern, presents the findings and highlights which viruses were detected in the submitted nasal swabs. Following on from these findings, the second part sees us dive deeper into the world of seasonal infections: Dr rer. nat. habil. Gert Zimmer, virologist at the Institute of Virology and Immunology, will explain everything you need to know about the influenza virus to ensure we are ready for the cold season.

Important: The lecture will be held in German. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer on-site translation. However, we will endeavour to provide French and English subtitles for online participants.
